A pretty detached stone country cottage set in half an acre of gardens with private pool, glorious views and some of the most delicious cherries you have ever tasted.

'Cherry Cottage' is surrounded by fields and woodlands and is less than 5 minutes walk from the village centre where you can buy hot bread fresh from the oven as well as a small range of groceries. There is also a Post Office and doctor's surgery.

Leading off a small hallway you have two double bedrooms; one with king size bed and the other two singles and a bathroom/W.C.

Running all along the front of the cottage is a covered terrace, a real suntrap, and off this you have a utility room with washing machine and separate W.C.

The Facilities:

A superb 10 x 5 metre pool with huge sun terrace awaits you just a few steps away from the cottage. Here you can just lie back and soak up the sun from morning to night or alternatively sip a cool drink under a sunshade and just unwind in this beautiful setting. For the energetic there is table tennis in the barn next to the pool and swingball in the garden.

The garden slopes gently down to a quiet country road and is completely fenced, as is the pool area, so perfect for family holidays with tiny tots.

The property also includes parking space and a garage for one or two cars. ‘Cherry Cottage’ is centrally heated so ideal for out of season breaks or long winter lets. Richard and Pat, the owners, live just 20 minutes drive away.

Cherry Cottage, Lauzès is just a 15 minute drive from junction 57 of the A20 motorway, and a little over 8 hours drive from Calais and the Eurotunnel port. The cottage is ideally situated for the 'low cost' airlines with Rodez (Ryan Air) and Toulouse (Easyjet, British Airways, Flybe, Bmi, Air Europa, Air France etc) airports both about an hour and a half a way. Slightly further to the west is the airport at Bergerac ( Ryan Air, Flybe ) If you are thinking of coming by train then the 'Eurostar' stops at Cahors and Gourdon stations where hire cars are available ( best to book first). For anyone stopping over or flying into Paris the drive down usually takes about 6 hours from the City and just a little longer from Roissy- Charles de Gaulle Airport.
