This lovely sunny gite full of character and tastefully decorated and furnished by the owner; a local French potter, is set in 50 acres of fields and woodlands on a peaceful hillside in one of France's most unspoilt regions.

'The Old Pottery' has four bedrooms; two doubles; one with a standard 140cm bed and the other a king size and two twins each with two single beds. There is a large shower room/WC as well as a bathroom, also with WC.

Both pools are completely fenced so 'The Old Pottery' is ideal for a relaxing holiday with the little ones. There is also a play area with swings and a cabin to keep them happy and everyone is welcome to visit the pottery during their holiday and have a go themselves.

Mylène and Roland, the resident owners are always very happy to answer any questions or help you plan your day.

The Old Pottery,Girou is just a 10 minute drive from junction 57 of the A20 motorway, and approx. 8 hours drive from Calais and the Eurotunnel port. The Gite is ideally situated for the 'low cost' airlines with Rodez (Ryan Air) and Bergerac ( Ryan Air, Flybe ) airports both about an hour and a half away. Toulouse airport ( Easyjet, British Airways, Flybe, Bmi, Air Europa etc ) is just an hour down the motorway and offers regular flights from various parts of the U.K. including London Gatwick. If you are thinking of coming by train then the 'Eurostar' stops at Cahors station where hire cars are available (best to book first). For anyone stopping over or flying into Paris the drive down usually takes about 6 hours from the City and just a little longer from Roissy - Charles de Gaulle Airport.

*The property offers wheelchair access to all rooms and with one of the bedrooms being large enough to accommodate someone with special needs. There is also a raised toilet with handrail and a walk-in shower with specially modified washbasin area to make life easier for wheelchair users
